I agree. I don't know if I like Gay and Mayo together, yet. Unless they move Mayo to the PG spot or something, or have him be like Lebron often when he carries the ball up the court.

And the Conley for Ford and Tinsley trade isn't even close. Conley has a looot more value than Ford and Tinsley has negative value.

Not sure if I agree with the bolded part. Gay could perhaps be a great second option, but I fail to see exactly how he is a guy to build around, especially when they have a higher-ceiling guy in Mayo.

I'm not sold on Gay. He has all the talent in the world, but the same questions persist: Is he hard enough worker to push himself to the next level? Does he have the basketball IQ to be a great player? Does he rely on his physical gifts too much? Will he learn to stop taking contested three pointers? Will Mayo give him the ball?

I like him, but unless he makes another leap this year, I can't see him in an All-Star game, not in the Western Conference, and not on a Grizzlies team that is almost guaranteed to suck year in and year out.
