are you asking a fantasy question? if so, I do think he's worth a look. should get heavy minutes particularly early with Mike D rehabbing. I play salary cap and I assume he'll be a bargain if he starts the year with a price based on last year's numbers. in a draft league, I think he'd be a great late round pick.

Second, look at the competition: LeBron, Wade, Joe Johnson, Granger, Redd, Rashard Lewis, Turkoglu, Arenas, Butler, etc. I'm sure there's more, but that's tough company.

Well to be fair, LeBron, Granger, Lewis, Turkoglu and Butler will all be in the Forward voting, not the Guard spots, but you can add Vince Carter, Devin Harris, Derrick Rose, Ben Gordon, Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and ( for some reason, if he's still in the East of course) Allen Iverson, would easily prevent him next year.

Next year he won't even warrant a spot, and we shouldn't expect him to. It'd be nice just to see him improve on his defense, learn the nuances of the pro game better, and play with confidence and consistency. To me, that would be a successful Brandon Rush season. Year 3 is usually when players make their big leaps.
