According to his twitter page, Jennings is currently en route to Indianapolis. Here's to hoping he makes management fall in love with him.

Gremz - I really, really want to love Evans (a PG in a SG's body?!), but I think he has some serious red flags (drive-by shooting, lateral agility, attended Memphis). I would be OK with moving up to get him, but I don't necessarily want us to do that.

By the way, this is a really good article comparing this year's PGs. (Unfortunately, Teague isn't included). Ty Lawson really seems more and more like a top 15 pick (just like he said he was in the Pacers.com interview).

Sweet. I thought someone reported few days ago that Jennings isn't going to workout for teams outside the top 10? Either way, i can't wait to hear about his workout.

Same. I really do respect Evans' game but i am just not sure about the guy. He brings a lot of package, i am not sure if this team is ready for it just yet.

Sports Illustrated's latest mock shapes up like this...

1. Clippers - Blake Griffin
2. Grizzlies - Tyreke Evans
3. Thunder - Ricky Rubio
4. Kings - Jonny Flynn
5. Wizards - James Harden
6. Wolves - Hasheem Thabeet
7. Warriors - DeMar DeRozan
8. Knicks - Stephen Curry
9. Raptors - Jordan Hill
10. Bucks - DeJuan Blair
11. Nets - Jrue Holiday
12. Bobcats - Gerald Henderson
13. Pacers - Brandon Jennings
14. Suns - Jeff Teague

I hope they're right.

If I had a choice between Teague and Jennings

Teague, I know he is long and strong from the combine measurements. He improved his game dramatically from freshman to sophmore year. In college he is a monster off the dribble. Translation, he should be a good defender, he has a good work ethic and he would likely be effective playing with a bunch of good three point shooters.

Jennings, he got little to no run on his Euro team. He was a dominating high school player. He either isn't smart enough or disciplined enough to qualify for D-1 sports. That said, if he works out against Eric Maynor and dominates him can you write him off?

There's things about Jennings i don't like, but one thing that i don't see why people keep bringing it up is him struggling vs. European talent. I'm not picking on yo 8305 but i've heard it numerous times in the media and all over the internet. It makes no sense to me. Jennings was a 20 year old playing against men. Each and every night he played against good, quality teams, with older guys. Players like Holiday, and OJ Mayo, played vs. weaker opponents and struggled too. Mayo turned out well. Holiday might go as high as 4th overall.

Agree that Jennings was playing against a higher level of competition. For someone drafting him the concern I think is the little bit playing time he got to the point he was difficult to scout. Does anyone really know if he can run a team. My guess is all that can be seen at the high school level (the last time anyone really saw him) was him being physically dominating. The college boys were playing against a lower level of competition but at least there is a body of work to analyze.

Eh... both are totally unknown quantities. Both could be superstars or nothings.

I wouldn't mind if we take him at 13, but I'd almost rather trading down (like last year) to someone who wants him more and is willing to give up a decent piece.

I've never seen a Euro game but from what I have read, Rubio was injured early in the season but when he returned he was the starting pg on his team. Jennings almost never played in fact there was a question as to if he would even be on his teams playoff roster. I'm guessing scouts were able to see a great deal more of Rubio than Jennings.

He's been playing pro since 15. And not all college freshman struggle. Mayo did. Mike Conley had no problems yet struggled in the pros. It's a bad argument. It's a topic of conversation but i don't see why look down on a guy for it. Besides, Rubio knows the system, knows the language, knows the culture.

Right, right, but you're argument was based on Jennings' age. I just threw out a counter.

Haven't heard how the workout went yet. Jennings says he's worked out for teams in the range of 4-8 in the draft, but wanted to work out for the Pacers just in case because he knows we're looking for a PG, and if he's still on the board at 13 would like to be taken. He would thinks he would play well in our open system where he could get up and down the court and make plays and excite the crowd *something we haven't had since Mark Jackson*. I REALLY hope that he somehow slips to 13, or we move up a bit to get him. I'd love to hear how the workout went.

I echo similar sentiments. I am hoping and praying that the draft shakes out in such a manner in which either Jennings or Holiday (highly unlikely, but not outside the realm of possibility) falls to us.

I'm at Conseco if Jennings is in town, that's for sure.

Jennings would be a good selection at 13, along with Holiday or Flynn. I think Flynn will turn out to be the most relevant of all the true pg's. Evans will probably be playing off the ball a lot, so I wouldn't consider him a pg until he proves it. Jrue also has something to prove. Flynn, Rubio and Jennings supposedly have great natural instincts for the position. Same can be said of Lawson. A lot of possibilities.
