Croshere with the Pacers?

Post#1 » by greenway84 » Sat Jun 20, 2009 7:48 pm

I was watching the new last night. they were showing clips of pre draft workouts and all. They were doing there basic headline stuff. A lot about jennings (boooo!) Anyways it should a clip of Bird and Croshere on the sidelines in suits (no playing time for Austin) have what seemed to be a deep discussion. Any chances hes going to be a part of the organization?

Maybe in a office or coaching role. I doubt we sign him as a basketball player.

I think that is good, especially for Josh McRoberts. I think JMR looks like Croshere when he was young. He could be a good mentor to Josh like what Sam Perkins did to Roy Hibbert. :D

I never saw a Croshere in McRoberts. Although i've never been too high on him, Pacers see him as a potential "Birdman" type player. Thoughts?

I've been hearing rumors about how Josh McRoberts has been living in the weight room this offseason.

I saw it with my own eyes when I ran into him at Conseco Fieldhouse earlier this week.
McRoberts said he's put on 20 pounds of muscle since the end of the season.

The Pacers want to re-sign McRoberts, who appeared in 33 games last season.

A Pacers official told me they envision McRoberts being like Denver's Birdman. They like McRoberts' athleticism, energy and rebounding ability off the bench.

Agree that Cro should be willing to work for free (coach or player). The tie to McRoberts is interesting and makes some sense. Maybe he could work with Josh on his shot.

Yeah FJ20 just did that last post. He can't figure out his password and needs some help. He won't make a new name, dunno why. Anyways, M4E was on it (I think), and now he's outta town.
