sixer's fan - I've been thinking we will trade down to 16 and grab Lawson.

most expect a point guard to be taken and Lawson is certainly on the list. Bird likes players who stay in school more than one year. personally I like Maynor better and I think most on this board would be happy to slide to 16, 17, or 18 and take our chances that he'd still be there. not sure what you could give us to trade up though as you only have one pick in this draft.

In regards to Blair's knees...

• Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon received a number of calls earlier this week, and as late as Thursday, about DeJuan Blair's knees. Dixon, who is en route to New Zealand to coach the USA Under 19 national team playing in the World Championships, said he told the teams, including Indiana at No. 13, that Blair never missed a practice or game in his two years. Blair's knees have been questioned because he had ACL surgery on each knee in high school.
