Can the Pacers go out and sign a Free agent to say an 8 million dollars and then resign Jack? I know that you can go over the cap to sign your own players, so if we sign a free agent first and then go and resign Jack. Would that work? Paul Millsap, Trevor Ariza?

They could use the MLE at best which is like 5 years 30 MIL and that money might end up going to Jack.

With the Pacers financial situation, expect a low end veteran.

Technically, we could go out and sign a vet to the MLE (around 5 year/30 million max like IndieRuso420 said), and then re-sign Jarrett Jack using our Bird Rights on him. However, I don't think Indy can do both, but rather one or the other.
