Bird liked Almond when he was in the draft if I remember correctly, or maybe that was Walsh, and that's why he's on the Knicks SL team.

I think Bird liked him. Walsh was starting to let him run the Pacers because he knew he was leaving at the end of that season. Yeah I could see the Pacers going after him to help their shooting problem that they had from last year. I definitely wouldn't mind.

I would love to get Carney. He could be a very good player for us and I have been wanting the Pacers to get him for a while now,
