How would Indy be able to trade Tinsley and Murphy for just a pick...and no salary in return? Even if we buy out Z, unless he accepts a buyout for $0, we still have to take on a lot of salary. Signing and trading Wally Szczerbiak, as many Cav's fans think could happen, is not an option. There's no way in hell Indy will pay him $10 million or more, even if it's only for one year.

 I'd be ok with Wally for about vet min, maybe $1.5 mill or so. I can't see him doing anything for us. As far as a trade of Murphy or JT for a draft pick that's the way a person who doesn't know about that thing called the CBA or thinks it is a Basketball Minor League. 8-)

We need to nix the S&T idea with Boston and go after Hakim Warrick with what little money we have left

The biggest amount we have left to sign someone is essentially the BAE (I don't think we used it last year...) which is essentially a 2 yr/$4 million deal. Other than using that, we have about $1.5 million left from the MLE after using most of it on Dahntay and Watson.

I wouldn't mind having Big Al back in a blue and gold jersey. NO WAY on Eddy Curry!

I sincerely doubt that you'll see either anywhere near this team.

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5212296

IND
Trade: Troy Murphy, T.J. Ford
Get: Jason Terry, Al Harrington

DAL
Trade: Jason Terry, Eric Dampier, Shawne Williams
Get: Troy Murphy, Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry

NYK
Trade: Al Harrington, Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry
Get: Shawne Williams, Eric Dampier, T.J. Ford

For the Pacers, It's cool to get baby Al again! Also, Terry is a much healthier point guard and can hit the 3 to fit in O'Brien's system.

For the Mavs, Murphy's rebounding could help pretty much. Curry won't help any but Chandler could step up to the starting lineup anytime if DAL wants to deal with Josh Howard.

For the Knicks, Ford is the Point guard they needed most, and trading away Curry's contract helps a lot next summer, especially having young Williams as return.

It's NOT cool to get Baby Al again. He's done with us, we're done with him.

Jason Terry is not a PG, and he has a contract that has a 95% chance of being fully guaranteed for the 2011/12 season for over $10 million, going against our cap space plans in the summer of 2011.

I highly doubt we'd move anything we have for him right now, especially after buying out Tinsley.

I'm even more doubtful that Dallas would move him.

Man, it's gonna be really nice not to hear all those (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Jamaal Tinsley trade scenarios now. Hooray for Jamaal Tinsley liberation day!
