Sounds like you guys should have gone after Belinelli. The Raptors got him for a song, so it's not like the asking price was high.

If mike IS healthy by season opener i think he is definate trade bait. It will only be a matter of time before he re-injures himself for this season. Sell high while you still can larry

Didn't feel the need to add to the numerous Dunleavy threads, so I'll post this here

I got a slight chuckle out of the underlined part.

While we're on the subject of comebacks …
Our medical specialist and consultant Dan Dyrek paid us a visit last week and we were all very happy with the impressions he came away with.
I hadn't seen him since the end of May so he really saw a lot of progress in that time with my hip and knee. He has been receiving updates every few days but it makes a big difference to see what's going on in person.
We had a really good treatment session and then discussed the plan moving forward. With the progress they've seen and my comfort level, we agreed its time to start ramping things up a little.
So needless to say I'm excited to take the next step. Perhaps that could have been today when I drove to the basket and threw one down. It was a pretty big deal. Then again, that's a big deal even when I'm totally healthy.
Things going well but no guarantees for opening night
There has been some talk lately that my recovery is going so well and that I am expected back by the beginning of the season. All I can honestly say is that I hope this is true but there are no guarantees.
At this point, things are going very well but there is a lot of time between now and opening night. A lot can happen between now and then.
So stay tuned and keep in mind that this is the best place to get the updates since all the info comes straight from the horse's mouth.
I got a slight chuckle out of the underlined part.

Well, if you had let us know GS was going to give up Belinelli for a bad player on a worthless contract, we would've held onto Jamaal Tinsley for you!
As it is now, we don't have any bad contracts to trade you for decent prospects. Sucks for us.

Posted this before. People never believe it. It was covered on the local news.
"Foster is remarkably athletic—he wowed Thomas by dunking from the free throw line after a practice last year."

Granted, this was a long time ago. Foster has definitely started losing a lot of his athleticism. As for Hansbrough, he's a freaking spring chicken, so he's got that going for him. But I'm not sure what scouting reports people are reading that said Hansbrough is an elite athlete for an NBA player. He has a poor vertical and his explosiveness and lateral quickness have often been questioned. And that's with him being considered a 4. As a 3, I think those question marks are magnified. That being said, I'd love it if he can prove himself as a combo forward because he'll become all that more useful.

Re: Dunleavy returning ealry?
Well, people were ripping on the claim earlier. What it has to do with Dunleavy is that I still think we need an extra wing player regardless of Dunleavy's health. Unless, Hansbrough, McRoberts, or Foster can defend the 3 for stretches in a pinch. I'm not sure any of them can (which is where the Hansbrough and Foster tangents came up).

Re: Dunleavy returning ealry?
Even without Dunleavy, we have Granger/Jones/Rush, who are three guys who can defend 3's. I think we're covered there.

Re: Dunleavy returning ealry?
If Dunleavy is back to start the season, we'll probably be fine. And if injuries hit, we'll probably suck anyway, so why not throw Hansbrough out there as a 3.

At the trade deadline anything is possible depending on our record. Right now Mike has low trade value, all the more reason to wait and see how he recovers. Regardless of our record, if Mike is determined fit his value increases considerably.
For what it is worth, Dunleavy used to be an iron-man, let's hope he returns to form.
