I would say making the playoffs. More importantly (for the future, obviously), the youngsters need to show some promise and/or improvement, especially Hibbert. We need to confirm what we hope and think we have in Granger, see that Rush continues what he did later on in the year last year, hopefully see some great things out of Hibbert, and see that Hansbrough wasn't just a college phenom and can be a pretty good player in the NBA. It would be a HUGE bonus if TJ steps up and can be a real leader who gets a lot of assists and few turnovers, showing the he can be the PG of the future. I hope he is, but I doubt it. If he does I think we will be a 6-seed. I am asking a lot out of the young guys, hopefully they can pull through.

PR07: I really liked does the player avatar thing from last year. Were you thinking of bringing it back? We have quite a few new players and new members. Just thought I'd bring it up with the season 4 weeks away (although my avy is badass-thanks M4E).

Obviously, making the playoffs would be the first reaction most people have, seeing as how we have been on the cusp the past two years. I just don't know. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't significantly more pessimistic about this team than last year's team. That's probably because I thought TJ Ford didn't suck complete crap then, but still, I just don't have high hopes for this team. Granger is obviously an absolute stud, Foster is Foster, Murphy should still be productive (although it's inevitable that he won't match his 3-point % from last year), but past that, I don't feel particularly good about anyone on the roster. Improvement, to me, would mean that Rush and Hibbert take legit steps forward, and that Hansbrough shows that he can be useful in the NBA.
