Indy people-this wasn't on tv, was it? I looked and didn't see it.

Anyways, it looks like the time of the pre-season when the starters don't get too many minutes and we try and see who we are going to cut. Granger still managed to get 22 points in 18 minutes. TJ Ford looked great all the way around, according to the box score at least. 11 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, and 4 steals in 18 minutes. Give him 40 minutes and he's going for the quadruple-double! Hibbert didn't shoot well, but he did have another 3 blocks in 22 minutes.

I am ready for the big game this weekend, though. Goooo Irish!

Nice to see TJ played well tonight. Was starting to get a little worried, heck I still am a little.

ROY BOY 2-11. a little concerning but another 3 blocks is great. Lookin like he can be a top 10 blocker this season. Go big boy go

I was at the game. Granger, Murphy and Ford looked very good. Luther Head had a really good game and D. Jones looked solid. Even without Dunleavy the wings looked like the strength of the team. That said Brandon Rush had a quiet night. He didn't force anything offensively but more overall activity would have been nice.

Still think D Jones would be the better starter. Using his minutes to guard the other team's best wing scorer seems like the best use of him. Coming off the bench that will not happen as much. At the pace we play with Granger, Ford and Murphy on the floor scoring will not be a problem. You can afford to have a defender in the starting group.

A quick read of the box score will tell you HIbbert had a really tough night. His shots just weren't going down. He wasn't a very effective rebounder either. The same could be said for S. Jones in that area. Both blocked a lot of shots HIbbert 3 and Jones 4. All that said HIbbert just looks more like he belongs out there this year. Defensively he brings something more than fouls.

The most obvious thing to be seen last night is Houston just isn't very good. Tonight's game against New Orleans will tell us alot more.
