Re: Pacers vs. Denver Gamethread
I'm really getting tired of trying to come up with, and hearing, excuses for this team. They're just not good. The crazy part is, Danny doesn't even seem to care that he's playing like absolute garbage. 12/36 with 7 turnovers in the last 2, and he moped around tonight like someone was supposed to feel sorry for him. This team needs a good swift kick in the ass, plain and simple.
Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, it's bobsled time!

Re: Pacers vs. Denver Gamethread
We're catching no breaks, between the unlucky bounces (horrible Denver misses became offensive rebounds from crazy ricochets) and shots no staying down, this team is both terrible offensively and terrible defensively. There is no rhythm on offense. Dahntay is the only one gutsy enough to be confident. Rush had one jumper in rhythm, and he sank it, but the rest of the time he was pulling the indecisive ****. Hibbert was the only one who was doing it all. He did his best out there and as imperfect as he was, he managed to proved positive hope for our team. This is terrible, and it seems like the season is a lost cause, but mainly the offense is not playing like it's supposed to. The defense actually hasn't been that bad as far as opponent FG% goes (only slightly below average) but the offense looks like it's grinding it out Carlisle style (which was cool, but Carlisle is not the coach). It was mainly pass it into the post, and try to backdoor. That hardly worked, so there was a lot of passing around the three-point line and failed penetration attempts (DRAW A FOUL, if nothing else. If the refs aren't on your side at first, keep trying, because they can't be ignorant forever).
Our injury bug just keeps getting worse and worse. I don't like having Solomon Jones being our primary backup big man. I don't like playing Granger at the 4. This is a terrible start to the season, and I will continue to believe that the Pacers can turn it around into something respectable.

If we have nothing else we can always say "Hey, maybe we will be better when Dunleavy is back!" or "Hansbrough is the spark we need!" We are only 3 games into the season. Heck, even if you are 0-3 in football you can turn it around on occassion.

We are losing to playoff bound teams so i kinda expect the losses. The fact that we arnt competing in these games is very disturbing though. What happened to murph guys?

Hopefully he will be. This team is terrible. By far the worst pacer team I've seen in 20 years.

Re: Pacers vs. Denver Gamethread
It is true that we've been playing playoff-bound teams that are all playing insanely well. Jermaine O'Neal was on fire against us, andthey are a young team still getting better. The Nuggets made the Western Conference Finals. The Hawks are young and most likely better than last season. Our three opponents are a combined 10-2. I can't wait to play an unbalanced team, because as soon as something works for us, it'll help with confidence and everything.
