If TJ's contract all of a suddent magically disappears off the SalaryCap and I can essentially replace AI with TJ.......I'd take AI ( assuming that he signs a cheap for a single season but is guaranteed a Starting Spot ) over TJ. IMHO...both can ( at times ) be selfish Players on the offensive end....the difference is that AI is much better at doing what he does then TJ is.
But since that's an impossibility....the point is moot, so I'd pass on AI...based off of the current roster.

I think I said the exact same thing over the summer. The only place this is possible is in a video game.
Look, I'm probably one of the few people left that like AI. I hope this isn't the end for him and I want to see him get back to really making a difference for a team again, but that team isn't the Pacers. We have a good thing going here. Good guys in the locker room, good chemistry, good roles... bringing AI in for a one year deal (presumably) would just set us back. We'd basically be scrapping the "three-year plan" for a one-year escapade with AI.
Not only is it not worth it at this point, it's not even fiscally possible.
