Pacer Nostalgia

Post#1 » by Reginald Wayne » Fri Dec 4, 2009 6:07 am

Pacers are 1-7 in their last 8....sucks.

Sometimes I have to look back on the good stuff to regain a positive chi.
I think I need that now:

I just saw that game on "NBA hardwood classics" and it totally lifted me up. Although we lost, it was an awesome game to watch. So many lead changes and ties.

I was wearing all my Pacer gear when I was watching it back in 2002. I even laid out my 100+ Reggie Miller trading cards on the ground during the 4th quarter.

Ah...good times

That's pretty cool. I used to have all sorts of rituals for Pacers playoff games back when I was growing up. I would listen to most of the games on the radio and I had one of those Nerf hoop sets in the room that I would act out the game on. Fun stuff!!
Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, it's bobsled time!

Nothing will ever make me forget being at Conseco for Reggie's last regular season home game, that was a great night. I still have the "Thank you Reggie!" signs and the book they gave away.
