I don't think anyone can definitely say no, I mean it's possible. However, I think there are players who are just as talented and will fill bigger needs, so I'd lean towards no.

Aldrich isn't likely fall to #10 since Utah may pick him at 9.

Gordon Hayward !? He's good but he's not Larry Bird. It's a waste to pick a SF with #10. pick since we have Danny Granger.

Coming into this year's draft, the Pacers need a good point guard, a good power forward who can start next season after Murphy's stint is over, a back-up defensive center to replace the expiring big men, and maybe an upgrade over Rush at the 2, if there is any.
I don't see the need to draft Aldrich, unless we're moving Hibbert, which is unlikely. The back-up defensive center could be at no. 40 or no.57. At no.10, there would be a nice list of power forwards to choose from. Even if Larry chooses talent over position, i still personally think it's going to be a PF with Monroe, Patterson, Davis, Udoh, Motiejunas, and others that could be available at number 10.

I don't think the OP is serious. I think this is yet another unfunny dig at our team's whiteness.

How very funny.

I'd take Whiteside above both, and so should Bird.

neither, not with the 10th pick. Cole can't play with Roy, Gordon would be there if we traded back for the 20th pick and some chips.

Of course this kid is not serious. He made a similar thread which was closed earlier in the day.

That is exactly what the fool is saying. I'm for Monroe, Patterson or Bledsoe.

Yeah, doesn't help that his name is "token" (as in, token white guy on a team)

Aldrich isn't likely fall to #10 since Utah may pick him at 9.

Passing the buck to Utah again, very good.
