will we make a move

The draft is only 12 days away. Do you think we will move our pick? Or sit with the #10 pick?

I'm hoping it's something along the lines of pick + expiring for someone proven who can have an impact right away

I think we will move down similar to what happened with Bayless/Rush trade.

I also think we'll end up moving down. I've been hearing a lot of rumors that we could ship #10 and maybe Rush to the Minnesota T-Wolves for Ramon Session and two later first round picks. Definitely would be a good plan from us and we could pick up someone like Eric Bledsoe with one of those later first round picks.

The trade down with Minnesota seems to make a lot of sense. I'd be ok with Rush, filler and 10 for Sessions 16 and 23. If given a choice of Bradley and Bledsoe at 16 I'd take Bradley.

All this talk about the Pacers not having pick 10 by draft night makes me wonder if its all a smoke screan to cover the Pacers genuinly liking a specific guy at 10. If I had to guess a name I'd say Patterson.

If we do, maybe we can work on getting the better player in the trade this time around?!

I have a feeling we are gonna wait until we are on the clock at #10 if Udoh is there we take him and be happy! If not we do this #10, TJ and Rush to Minny for Sessions and #16 and #23.

I'm wishing Larry Sanders and Eric Bledsoe in a trade down.

will this ever end? Rush was the guy the Pacer's had rated higher no matter how many - Bill Polian's word is perfect - pundits liked Bayless and while I too was excited in the 5 minutes I thought we had him, I've seen nothing out of Bayless that makes me at all wish we had him instead of Rush.

I still think Rush has shown more pure ability than Granger did in his first two years. however, Danny was able to improve 5 points a year in his early career and Brandon has been flat. I blame some of that on the coach who tries to put round pegs in square holes.

For Rush to show a big improvement he is gonna have to be getting more shots, I'm ok with him I think we did ok on the trade getting Jack and McBob as well but now Jack is a Raptor so...

You didn't see anything you liked out of Bayless? I'll take 8.5ppg and 2apg in just under 18 minutes per compared to 9.4 points in 30 minutes per game.

If you don't like when people point out that Bird messed that trade up, then I don't know what to tell you.

And to follow up - you see that Rush has more pure ability than Granger did? I think I've heard it all.

I'll take the one that can actually fit a position on the court, and that can play some solid defense. Bayless is a SG with a PG size, but can't defend either.

At least Rush will be able to make a career in this league off of defense.

When that trade first went down, I was one of the guys that blew up on this forum. I was angry for weeks. But, nothing since then has made me hate that trade.

Even if Rush never becomes the second option he was intended to be a long solid defensive wing is more common on good teams than undersized shooting guards.

I think we will stick with it or move down just a few slots.

And I'm guessing it will be for Patterson.

We will not draft a PG. We will get one by trading or free agency.

And Conley will be a target.

When the team starts to actually play defense, then Brandon Rush might fit. In the meantime, I'd prefer a guy that can penetrate and score.
