I just hope we don't all end up wishing that he had.

Yeah, this is one of the hardest years to figure out what the Pacers are going to do that I can remember. Get a pg, get a big, trade the pick...who the hell knows? My hunch is that top preference would be to trade the pick for one of the point guards being talked about, but if that can't be done, then I have no idea what the Pacers will do.

Re: Pacers Very Agressive
Many NBA reporters are saying the Pacers are one of the most active teams right now. While it's very exciting to be an active team, they need to make the right moves. Couple things i am looking for is.... who can they lure to play PG..... do they still believe in Brandon Rush..... and can they fill the PF position?
Also, many believe that Philly's trade today was a precursor to trading the 2nd pick..... i wonder if we could still be in the mix for Evan Turner?

Evan Turner is gonna be a bust if he goes to Philly. he doesn't fit their play style. I think he's an overrated scorer and passer. A lot of his assists were from penetrating and dishing it out to someone for three. Philly is one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA. He had players like Lighty and Buford to score off of his passes. He averaged 6.0 assists a game, but also 4.4 turnovers a game. I don't see how people compare him to Brandon Roy. He's more like a Jamal Crawford, except Crawford is a lot better of a scorer.

The Dalembert trade today makes me wonder if the Sixers are indeed going big. Turner may be on the radar but after the trade today, picking up Hawes and Nocioni, teaming with Iguodala and Brand, you wonder if that's really the case anymore.

I don't see the Philly trade as a precurser to anything. They need guys who can knock down shots from the outside. Hawes who can do that is an excellent compliment to all their slashers and Brand's post up game. A guy like Hawes makes the test drive of Turner and Iggy much more promising.

There is a rumor out of MN that the Granger for Jefferson proposal discussed at the trade deadline is heating up again. Not sure about the details, but it's possible you guys have warmed up to the idea or we agreed to add a little something to the deal, maybe the #16 or #23 picks?

There is no way on this planet we trade Granger for Al Jefferson.

I would be interested in seeing what else the Wolves added in for Granger as well. Personally I would be very sad if we trade Danny because I think he's a great fit in Indy, we just need to get players around him who can take some pressure off of him.

If it was Granger and Ford for Jefferson, Flynn, #4 and #16 I might have to consider it. But for the most part No!

As much as it would pain me to see Danny go, we may have to take that deal. That gives us Jefferson, Flynn to start at PG, and picks 4, 10, and 16. That's a king's ransom for Danny, as we don't want Ford anyway.
