Luther Head Signs with NO

The New Orleans Hornets have reached an agreement on a two-year contract with veteran guard Luther Head(notes).

The Hornets are not announcing the deal yet because Head still must pass his physical, but Head’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, told The Associated Press on Saturday that the deal paying Head about $2.5 million over two years is done.

I'm not shocked he's gone, he was a good player when he played. I wish him luck.

Too bad, I liked Luther. But this is just another player we sign for a year that gets a bigger contract elsewhere.

I do want to state that I think that Luther was a bit of a chucker with a bad shooting form. I didn't really like him, but he was good for the minimum.
