Suffers a stroke after collision. Wow, this is terrible. I remember Moye being the motor of the Indiana basketball team. Sad to hear this. Hope things turn out ok.

Re: A.J. Moye
I remember my first week at IU playing at the HPER in pickup games and looking up to see who I got to D up.
AJ Moye.
Needless to say, I got my ass ran over in that game. It was still really fun, and he was a great guy about it too.

Jeff Newton? Who do you think ran next against us?
I think the two lived together for a year or two in Bloomington. Newton stuck around for a few years after he graduated and lived with Mike Davis' family.

Looks like he's putting up 12/11 in Japan right now.....on 38% shooting.

I always like Moye's game. He was just a tough guy out there and played with a lot of heart. This just seems very strange to me.

Apparently, it was the result of a severe collision to the head he took on the basketball court?
I'm not sure if that can really happen or not. I'll have to look it up in my medical encyclopedia (aka ask my wife).

Yeah, I've never heard of that happening, not that it can't (I have no idea). I mean I could see having a seizure, but I've never heard of someone getting a stroke from a collision, that's why it seems so strange.

Re: A.J. Moye
My theory is that the bruising that occurs because of a collision was severe enough that it caused blood vessels to constrict, but it would have to be bruising inside the cranium from concussion.
