I think they just said 'indefinitely'.

Don't remember anyone else's time back from that. Is there a doctor in the (Field)house?

(See what I did there?  Stuck at home with a busted ankle makes me crazy)

Carlos Boozer missed like 8 weeks with a broken hand.

Oh yeah, I break people's ankles daily. I don't know how it feels tho.

Haha, well fortunately I didn't get crossed up to do it, someone went under me as landed after a TJ Ford style jump-turnover (though my version is sans turnover).

What exactly did he do tonight in the 4th ( besides give up buckets and get lost on defense )? Did he even get a rebound? Did he do anything at all that would say " Now that helped the team pull this one out " ? I personally didnt see anything.

Well, I didn't get to see the 4th, but I caught much of it on ESPN's GameCast and saw highlights in nba.com, and a lot of what I saw was players getting beat to the basket and Josh having to help off which led to a couple of easy baskets.

I like Tyler, and he's a better offensive rebounder/shooter/player than Josh, but he's not the defender, passer, shot-blocker, ball-handler, or cog that Josh is with the starters. We've heard it a million times, but he does a lot of things that don't show up on a box score. He knows his role and plays it to a T.

In the 1st 3 minutes of the 4th, Tyler missed a layup, a FT, and turned the ball over... not exactly what you need while trying to hold onto a lead. All Josh did was miss a 17-ft J and get a rebound, but he didn't foul, he didn't turn it over, and had a +4 rating for the game. Josh was the only starter to not reach 10 pts or 30 minutes, and that's exactly where he should be. Just like Jeff was to JO and McKey was to Reggie, Josh finds his spots and takes advantage.

Of course, matchups will dictate a lot of who plays when, and it may be Tyler getting more minutes the closer we get to April 15th, but right now, to breed both familiarity and chemistry, Josh, for the most part, should be starting and finishing the games.

Tyler got shafted by the refs early on and totally came back. I would also say that Tyler is a better defender than Josh, on a fundamental man-to-man basis as well as a passing lanes guy. He gets so many deflections. I think he and Josh McRoberts are interchangeable to a degree, but when it comes down to it, Tyler Hansbrough gets it done without any of the questionable decisions Josh McRoberts makes.

If that's truly the case, then it'll play out over the rest of the season, but I don't see it. Maybe it's b/c Josh has more experience and more knowledge of the NBA, but too many times I see Tyler overaggressive, close out too fast, or go for a head fake, which ends in a dunk (ie. Gee and Samuels last night). Again, I hope it's just experience, but Josh's rotations, protection of the basket, and weak-side shot-blocking are much cleaner and precise than Psycho's are, right now at least.

And Tyler is the new Feisty and the energy he brings off the bench is unmatched. But Darren and Mike as our starting backcourt, we're gonna get driven on a lot, as last night's parade to the line showed for the Cavs, and may show tomorrow with Miller, Matthews, and Fernandez. Let's not mistake effort and hustle for D. I'm not saying Josh is leaps and bounds over Tyler, but, RIGHT NOW, I'm giving it to McBobs.
