^^^His point was Tyler shouldn't ever be taking that many shots. Hibbert and Granger are the two most important players on this team right now. More often than not they should take around 16 shots. Maybe not every night, but if you have a player like Tyler taking that many shots every night, then you'll probably be worse than the Cavs.
None of us want to be there, I hope.

And my point is that Tyler doesnt take that many shots every night and in a game like like this one was... Who cares? That IS the point.
And as I said before Tyler has had big games already where he shot 15+ times and at 50+%. To try and point to this and say " he should never take 16 shots " is ignorant.
Edit : Going back 25 games he shot 15+ times 4 times and in those games he was 10-19 , 10-17 , 8-17 , 4-16. So as you can see he had 1 poor shooting performance in those games. Also going 20-26 FT in those games.

We're 1-3 in those games, and the 1 win was a 1 point win over Detroit.
Nobody wants to argue with you. I mean some people like Hansbrough, some people like McRoberts, some people like both, and some people like neither.
I like both, but I would trade them both for an upgrade at anytime. Because no matter what anybody says, we're not going to be a good team, as long as McRoberts or Hansbrough are the starters.
Don't take it personal. Unless you're Tyler Hansbrough.

Someone like PG (maybe some bias) or Lance that we're trying to develop into a possible starter and doesnt get many shots during closer games, should get those looks. When you have Tyler taking 16 shots and PG only 6, something is very wrong. Also thought I would mention, that his overall field goal percentage is not sniffing 50% and for a guy who plays close to the basket and takes alot of shots, that's not good.
Oh so now that we're playing decent teams his field goal percentage has dropped? That's a surprise. And you can't deny that McRoberts fits better with the first team than Hansbrough, but please do so i can read another anger-filled post about how good Tyler is. He's a solid player, who will make a very good energy guy off the bench when we get back to being a contender. But he should not be taking that many shots period. Also its worth mentioning, he's not going to get those weak foul calls in the playoffs. I've never seen someone get bailed out so much by the referees. To his credit he's been very good from the foul line.
In your rage, you somehow gathered that I said Tyler was the only reason we lost? Next time read the thread before you start making dumb comments that blow up in your face. Cool your jets man, I'm sure that we both want to see the team win, but no reason to get mad because someone disagrees with you.
And I'm not familiar with pacers digest sorry.
Anger? Heh. Yea I figured.
In a game where you are down 25+ the majority of the time.. You CANNOT knock ANYONE for ANYTHING in the 4th Q.
As I planly pointed out with FACTS 8 of his shots came in the 4th Q when the Pacers were down 25-30+ points. Who in the world CARES if he took 16 shots? If the Pacers lost by say 5 points then go ahead and say " Maybe Tyler shouldnt have shot 16 times when he wasnt feeling it ". I would agree with you.
I also said before that Tyler has had some big games where he shot 15+ times.. Where were you when Granger was putting up some miserable shooting performances or when Hibbert could barely draw iron? And those games were close too. But you choose to try and bash Tyler for something in a blowout of a game.
Lets say Tyler just shot 10 times.. Would that have magically made the game close? Maybe you forget he and the rest of the bench is what kept the game within reach in the first half? No? Didnt think so. So tell me.. Who was going to shoot if not for Tyler? Granger? He was on the bench. Hibbert? Bench. McRoberts? lol Yea right.
You can try and flip your argument all you want to try and backpedal but its no use. You were served not once but twice.
I also never said you were on PD.. I just said you would be happier over there because like you they like to create myths and preach them as fact.
You're putting words in my mouth. If thats "being served" then I guess you're right. I'm going to get out of dodge on this one. No use getting a warning/w.e for arguing with someone who is more concerned about arguing claims I didnt make then the ones that I actually posted. (and you quoted me too...wow) Next time please read the thread before posting.

I guess you forget that 2 of those games were during Hibberts struggles. So dont play it like Tyler shooting had any bearing on the team losing. And the blowout against OKC.. it wouldnt matter if PF shot 16 times or Dahntay 16 times or Price 16 times. A game like that really doesnt show anything.
And this isnt about liking a player or not. Its about using common sense and keeping things in context of each situation. When taken out of context is when you get people like the PG fan talking out his backside.
Either way. I am done providing factual evidence. Its up to the person whether or not to ignore it.
