Please start him next game Vogel.

I don't get why Vogel isn't playing Lance and Paul together. They was workin good together earlier.

Crap, I missed all of Lance's run so far. Did manage to make it in time for that gross AJ airball.

And right on cue, he throws a bad pass and bricks a midrange 2.

no one agrees with me on payton being a great specialty coach for stephenson? not even u indy? Magic brought in Ewing for Dwight. I think Payton for Lance would be huge

Gery Payton is one of my favorite players. I think he could be a great coach for him, or a bad coach. You know they gonna fight each other. Two big egos. But it could be for the best. IDK.

Nice 3 by DC, but I think we would have a better chance at winning with Lance in. We can score, we just need somebody who can find the scorers. Lance can do that better than anybody on this team.

I'm not sure I want Lance in there right now. Try to complete a come-from-behind victory is tough any way you cut it, especially could be for Lance going up against a great team in Dallas, especially when it's only, what, his 5th game or so.

as big as lance's ego may be...i feel he may have had a reality check with not playing til game 58..and payton is an all time great, whose style of play would fit lance perfect, lance is payton, but bigger, stronger, and more athletic..it just depends if he wants to work hard to be great...i think it would be a match made in heaven...thats just my op tho.

Man...there were so many shots where we did everything we could short of blocking the shot, and they still sank those shots.

Lance has always been on the big stage. As a rookie, he's bigger, stronger, and faster than 90% of the people he's guarding. Mentally, I think he'll always be ready to come up big late.

Collison's proven he plays bad in late game situations. Time to see what Lance can do.

I can't believe I spelled his name wrong. Gery? I think Lance is gonna be a better offensive player than Payton, but GP's was one of the best defensive point guards ever. I wouldn't mind givin him a shot.

hopefully cha loses...we've really been bad lately..makes me worry if we are better, or just better than the bad teams and match up well with a few good teams, like miami, who have no inside game. i think we will still hold off and get that 8th seed, and maybe win 2 games, and i personally would rather have that than being in the lotto again...at least that brings in revenue for mr. simon, and helps our team overall and in the f.a. market..obviously a david west would rather come to a playoff team than a lottery team

I think Lance's offense can be better than Kidd's, but not better than Payton's. His shooting motion is a little unwieldy and I haven't seen the 21-7 kind of versatility Payton has shown. You're talking about a top-5 PG ever.

That five minute stretch in the first half Lance was pretty sick. Aside from that our point guards were hard to watch tonight. Box score showed Collison with 2 turnovers. Seemed like he had three times that many.

Dirk only missed what.. 2 times tonight? Not much you can do when he is shooting like that outside of denying him the ball.

Was hoping to see Lance in the 4th.. He seemed to have it going tonight.

Thought Hansbrough settled a bit to much in the second half.. Going 1-5 I think. But he played probably the best defense I have seen from him in the second half. He was making Dirk really work for the ball but Dirk still was able to pull a ridiculous bank shot.

A key point in the game was when the starters came back in and Collison had a couple bad possessions allowing the Mavs push a 3 pt lead to 7 or 9.

I think the Pacers can play with the Mavs and beat them ( cmon.. Dirk aint going to shoot like that all the time ).. One big thing though is that Heywood can really take Hibbert out of his game with his strength. Roy still had 11 and 8 but thats probably the best you can expect in that matchup.

This month may end up really doing the Pacers in.. Hope not because I think they can do some damage in the playoffs but it seems like thats the direction things are going.

Edit : The shocking stat of the night? Well McRoberts with 15 points but what stood out to me was Foster only grabbing 2 rebounds.

before you get down on our point guards, see if you can go back and find what people were writing about Gary Payton at this stage of his career. as i remember, he looked like a bust and yet we're calling him the best point guard ever. truth is point guards with rare exceptions take time.
