Re: Born ready to play next week?
At what point do we look at Lance becoming the starting PG? Now before you think I'm getting ahead of myself, if DC plateaus and shows no improvement and Lance constantly gets better, at what point do we think of making DC an available trade asset and look at Lance as our starting PG?

There's never a clear point, but I'd say after DC's 3rd season.

Or whenever Lance is clearly outperforming DC.

Re: Born ready to play next week?
Lance has really only played two extensive games, predominantly against b/u's during garbage time. I would like to see him get a shot against first teamers soon.
Actually I take that back. He played 11 min in the first half against GS and more than held his own against Curry.
I still think Darren deserves a shot with a different coach because the #'s he produced as a starter last season were all-star worthy. We're talking 30 games or so. I doubt Lance will have one game that even approaches his averages.
As things stand maybe Lance is the only ball-handler we have that can take the pounding our pg's take, for whatever reason (because we don't have an enforcer). Darren is too courageous, and usually gets assaulted everytime he enter the lane. AJ doesn't even go there anymore, electing to jack-up inopportune 3's.
AJ should be the third option, used only in case of emergency. I would like to see Lance get the leftovers at pg (16 mpg), and maybe a few at sg (4-8 mpg). That would leave a 42 min split for George/Rush at the 2. I'd prefer George and Jones to split Danny's leftovers, and I consider Danny better at the 4 than McRob, so he'd get 4-8 of his minutes, allowing the aforementioned to split 20 minutes. That is basically how I'd tighten the rotation.
Roy 32 mpg..... Foster 16 mpg
Mcbob 18 mpg..... Hansbrough 24 mpg.... Granger 6 mpg
Granger 28 mpg..... George 10 mpg .... Jones 10 mpg
Rush.... 21 mpg...... George 21 mpg .... Stephenson 6 mpg
Collsison .... 32 mpg ... Stephenson 6 mpg

(Please Use More Appropriate Word) coaches don't count.
sure looks like that was just how they chose to spin their decision not to play him until the legal situation was over.

Re: Born ready to play next week?
I'd be surprised if we're still playing 2 full units once we are a plus 500 team. Lance looks like a combo guard to me and a perfect fit in a three guard rotation. I see DC, Lance, and someone being a trio that can play in any combination of two. Is the someone Rush, PG, or Mike, or someone yet to be signed? I really don't have a good guess. I left AJ out because I think he will eventually be the 3rd point guard that gets spot minutes except for nights where foul trouble or match-ups call his number.
