don't remember him as ever being a college coach. he was a guard on the "Archie Dees" team at IU and the Pacer coach in the ABA. I think he'd coached at Chicago and Baltimore in the NBA before that. Chicago Zephyrs not Bulls.

I thought he went straight from playing in the NBA to coaching without a coaching stop in college as well.
