Kravitz recently called Lance the most hated player in the locker room. Larry seems to be the only one left on his side as he's blown everyone else off with F bombs including coaches. sounds like his high school record may have gone to his head.

Yea... my guess, "project born ready" is over. He won't be with the team much longer.

I have a feeling Stephenson would be dealt this offseason. Bird could be just acting up, because he knows Stephenson's got some "value".

He reminds me of the late Malik Sealy's 'Stacey Patton' from the movie Eddie. He just seems like a wanker. This team has good chemistry and high-quality character, I say cut him. Don't even trade him, just cut him. Or exile hi to Fort Wayne for the rest of his contract.

This. Why actively diminish the value of an asset? Stephenson could make a good trade package into a pretty good trade package.

Now tell me, why diminish the value of an asset? Cut him for nothing? Wow.

Come on Moooose, I was being facetious with my comments on Stephenson. My point is that I want him off of the roster, unless there is a significant turn-around in his attitude (which I find unlikely). Having said that, if he is not dealt, and does not experience a turn around, then he should be cut.

How long do you give him to make that attitude adjustment before cutting him?

Lance was a 2nd rounder who kept falling. I'm not sure he's done anything this year to raise his stock, and would be lucky to net a 2nd rounder in return for him.

As i said earlier, i think you try to package him in a deal, but if that fails, you cut him prior to training camp. I really doubt he will be a Pacer come next season.

The Pacers were recently represented at an elementary school function by Lance, AJ, & Dahntey. Why would the Pacers send this animal to interact with children? Sounds like they want to shield him from the community.

Threads reeks of double-standards/hypocrisy.

I dont care if he's back. I just hope he finds a place and is able to reach his potential.

I'm honestly worried about what he's going to do without supervision all summer back at home.

The second and third sentence was pure sarcasm.

The IndyStar reported that Lance was at an IPS school function. My point is.... Bird has the $850,000 carrot out in front of Lance, and based off his post-season schedule maybe the team intends to occupy his time for him. In the meantime they hope he might gleen some professionalism from his mates.

It doesn't seem like he is on the outs to me. Even in the playoffs, he was a great cheerleader, and all the players seemed to include him as a member of the team. If it was anything in the past, he'd already be gone.

he's not gone because Bird still is a believer. if we have a lockout there will be a long summer without contact from the coaches. this won't help him. he needs to learn to accept coaching and stop reacting to all criticism with f bombs.

Spot on. I tend to think he will have to be cut in order to fulfill his potential somewhere else. I just don't think he understands what it takes to play in the NBA, and until it is almost taken away from him he just won't get it.

Shawne Williams, perversly enough, acts as a good example of the type of NBA career I could see unfolding for Lance. He's not a bad person, he is immature.
