I agree with Chube... it's been pretty well known the players, and most fans, like Vogel. Even the slight hint of getting behind Vogel says something at this point. I'm surprised we haven't heard more out of the Pacers and the coaching search. I've been sorta crossing my fingers for Rick Adelman, but at the same time also want Vogel back.
I feel we are at somewhat of a crossroads. Adelman would be a great veteran presence and give the team the direction they need, but Vogel inspires the team. Which is better? We are young and immature as a team and Adelmans veterean presence might not crossover. Vogels potential and ability to inspire seems almost best at this point. Vogel can grow with the team and with Larry behind him can become an excellent coach.
I'm backing Vogel for the job.
Free agency is going to be an entire new ballgame. Quickly, i'd like us to curb the spending and not overpay an average player. Bring back McRoberts!
