People talking about Leonard or Williams don't have a very good grasp on the Pacers needs imo.

George Hill is basically our Jason Terry, combo guard that scores efficiently in multiple ways, something we badly needed. An upgrade over both Rush & Price. He can't defend 3's like Rush but our roster isn't complete - and Rush is still on it for the time being. Would seem likely he or Jones will get moved. There are lots of quality bigs on the market and we're one of the only teams equipped to land a big name that would put Hansborough on the 2nd unit and further improve our team depth. (and as far I can remember, the most competitive team with cash). With the right moves in FA this team could be a top 4 seed next year and for the foreseeable future.

As long as it doesn't end up being PaulGeorgeHillTonArmstrong I am all good.

Yes, Larry, as in the guy who drafted Hibbert at 18, Hansbrough at 13, Price at 52, Stephenson at 40, Paul George at 10, traded Collison for Murphy, and had a hand in picking Granger at 17?

Maybe he is praising him...

You got a very nice player in Hill and have an excellent role ready made for him to fill. He is a multi-talented combo guard who is capable of scoring, creating, shooting, slashing, finishing and taking a tough defensive match up.

The Pacers can now give an awful lot of different looks to teams and play small or go big with quality talent in basically any style of play. I think a Collison, Hill, George, Granger, Hibbert lineup is bound to give many teams major problems.

This sucks, sale on NBA.com, new cheaper shipping to Aus, and they don't have G3 jerseys yet, and won't let you customise due to the player names thing, better be fixed soon :shakefist:.
Yes, I know this is irrelevant to the thread, I just wanted to rage. :D

Kudos Larry Bird did it again!!! Great trade George Hill is a winner he'll be great for the team. Question is will the Pacers trade Collison? I can see something happening there. 8-)

^^^ I don't think so. Bird has said that aside from maybe upgrading the 4 (which he didn't explicitly say, but is pretty clear to many even though Hans did a nice job at the end of last year), he has said that he wants to build a great bench and I truly think that is the role Bird had in mind for Hill.
