Odd since in 24 career games Lance has only attempted 5 or more shots 5 times. Hansbrough, Amundson, and Dahntay are the 2nd unit blackhole/chuckers.

Lance 0.31 attempts/minute shooting 31% over his career

Price 0.40 attempts/minute shooting 38% over his career

Hansbrough 0.40 attempts/minute shooting 43% over his career

Amundson 0.33 attempts/minute shooting 23% with the Pacers

DJones 0.33 attempts/minute shooting 46% with the Pacers

Based on shooting percentages, you may be allowed to call Amundson a chucker. The thing you have to remember, though, is that at no point in the game will Amundson be the only player on offense to touch the ball. If you want to call Tyler a black hole fine, but he's taking just over 4 shots/48 min more than Lance so I'm not sure where you're drawing the line. In case you're wondering, your original argument:

Collison 0.35 attempts/minute shooting 45% with the Pacers

Per 48, Collison shoots 16.8 shots and Lance 14.9. I'm not making an argument for Collison, only saying that you shouldn't question his shot selection and then praise Lance.

Also, to use your own standard, in 12 games with the Pacers Amundson has only attempted 5 or more shots once, when he shot 6 times against NJN.

This is because 75% of his shot attempts never go up. He just fumbles the ball out of bounds. He could be a good asset if he knew his limitations. Try hard on D, rebound, set picks and wait for shot to go up to crash board. Not call for the ball and lose it out of bounds or try to draw a foul when you're as bad of a shooter that he is. He tries to do things he just can't do. Jeff Foster looks like Kareem compared to him offensively. He should know better. He's not as good as Jeff, but he should play the way he does. Instead he plays like he's Hansbrough out there.

Haha yeah I'm definitely not making a case for Amundson, you're pretty spot on about him. It was just a point I was using to say just because Lance doesn't take a ton of shots doesn't mean he's not a chucker. If Lance reeled it in I think he'd be a great player, he just focuses in on one thing and, in my opinion, puts himself at a disadvantage by letting the other team know whether he's going to shoot or pass every time down the court. It's more frustrating with him, though, because he's so athletic. If he doesn't really show something by the end of next year I don't think he ever will.
