Congrats from a Suns fan!!

Post#1 » by SunsRback4Good » Sat Apr 14, 2012 4:59 am

Hey guys Suns fan here. I just want to congratulate you guys on an amazing season and clinching a playoff spot. Hope you gain playoff experience and then dominate and win a championship. I've been a Suns fan for a little over 13 years now but I remember two other teams in past 12 years I rooted for to do great. And that was Sacramento and Indiana. I loved the Pacers team in 2000-2003 when you guys have Miller/Rose/Smith/Davis/Jackson/Perkins/Foster and etc it was an exciting team and wish you guys won a championship in finals against Lakers. And Kings team from like 2000 to 20004 with Peja/Webber/Bibby/Cristie/Divac. Anyways, looks like you guys have a bright future and could become true contenders in a few years. ;) Gl the rest of the season and playoffs.

Well, he's unrestricted, so I'm not sure we'd give you anything....

But seriously, it's fun watching you guys too. Nash and Gortat are an interesting combo, and I LOVE Grant Hill from back in the day. My gosh, what Grant could have been if not for the bad ankles.

I have some family in Scottsdale and Tucson, so I generally root for the Cardinals and Suns after the Colts and Pacers. The Diamondbacks, not so much. METS.METS.METS..

I think it is a damn shame that Pheonix will probably lose Nash for nothing, similar to how the Colts lost Peyton Manning. It is a failure in operations to let an all-star (Amare) and a hall-of-famer realize their respective contracts, and just walk.

Indy has got to be an option for Nash. Our main weakness is exactly what he possesses.

Although, George Hill might be our pg of the future, you never know, but make no mistake, it would be one or the other.

Thanks, bud.

The Suns have always been one of my, of not my favorite Western Conference teams. My best friend when I was younger was and still is a huge Suns fan too, so we watched a lot of Phoenix games together. I would love it if you guys made the playoffs. Great turn-around already for you!

Thanks a lot, mate.

I like the Suns a lot as well. I definitely believe that you deserved a championship just as much as Stockton - Malone deserved a championship.

We also love the ex-Suns that we have in our team. Lou and Barbosa have been great for us :D

Thanks. It's always nice to hear such things

That's where I live in Scottsdale. I all love Arizona teams even if I know to another state I'll continue to root for( Suns, d-backs, Cardinals, Yotes, Wildcats).. Yeah, Nash finally spoke out and said if we don't get better players in off season and aren't serious about winning then he'll leave. I've had the pleasure watching Nash for 8 years now and can't wonder how badly we'll be without him afterwards. I see him leaving because sadly, we got a cheap azz owner and now way he gets rid of Warrick/Childress/Frye/Telfair and others to build a better team in order for Nash to stay put.

Anyways, thank you all for your kind responses and can't wait for playoffs because even if we don't make it I'll root for only Bulls/Pacers/Grizzlies and Thunder to win it all.

Good luck, see ya guys

I had no idea George Hill was a pg. Didn't he play sg in San Antonio or am I mistaken?

He is a combo guard but can play both. He is better at defending PGs but offensively he is more of a SG.

Well, it was not easy getting past those teams. Prime Duncan + Manu + Parker and younger Kobe + Pau were hard to beat.
