Ramon Session
Ramon Session will be testing unrestricted free agency. Do you think there is any chance that their would be some mutual interest? He says he would like to stay in LA. How much will he be worth this summer?

Re: Ramon Session
My list for PG's this summer is Deron, Nash, Dragic, Sessions. They're all gong to be hot commodities, but I see Sessions staying in LA. Meanwhile, retaining Barbosa and adding another former Sun might be a good way for us to go.

Re: Ramon Session
The Lakers would be foolish not to re-sign him. I think we're fine with Collison and George though. I believe what we need is a true back-up to Hibbert.

Re: Ramon Session
the true back-up to Hibbert could be Fesenko. he looked very big and more than a little slow the other night but he showed a very good understanding of where he needed to be at all times. he played intelligent ball.
while Lou has exceeded all expectations at center, he really is a power forward. while everyone seems concerned about minutes at the wing if George matures, I can see a real issue with minutes at the four if Fes is taking the backup minutes at the five. we wouldn't be where we are without West but Tyler and Lou deserve to be on the court and the draft may give us yet another big.
anyway, I have liked Sessions for a long time. back a few years ago when I was playing fantasy ball at Sporting News he got me a lot of points without costing all that much. I think though the Lakers will find a way to keep him. I do agree that AJ and and DC has been the weak link lately. Vogel will have a tough decision in the back court when DC comes back.

I think Vogel's sticking with Collison. They're minutes are really even, so he reads who's doing better in which games and finishes according to that.
Sessions has gotten a lot better at the 3, which helps his case a lot.

I'm fine with Collison/Hill if Sessions is the one who needs to upgrade the 1.
He's a good player, but he wouldn't make enough of a difference.

Sessions won't provide an awful lot of an upgrade, if at all, over the combo of Collison and Hill.

Re: Ramon Session
Miller4ever, you can forget about Nash and Deron, there is no way they will come to Indiana.
Hill is proving that he can handle the PG spot. I think between Hill and Collison, we should be okay.
I don't know if bringing in Sessions or maybe Felton would be much of an upgrade over Hill/Collison.

Re: Ramon Session
I'm not sure why Nash wouldn't consider us. D West chose us over Boston. at his age, I think contending is more important that market size. Deron is probably a different story. I'd think his first choice would be to build something in Brooklyn. personally, I'm hoping we resign Barbosa and replace AJ with a veteran like Nash or Andre Miller who has reached a stage where winning is what matters and is comfortable being a spot player in a 5 guard rotation with Collison, Hill, George, and Barbosa. in a perfect world, Lance Stephenson would be ready to take over those minutes.
but Barbosa thinks we can make a run at the championship this year if we believe we can, focus, and play hard. I'm a big believer in the notion that you can't exceed your own goal. if you think your season is a success after winning in the first round, you can't win in the second. to win a Super Bowl, you can't have a preseason goal of just getting there. so lets set our goal high and see what we can do without thinking we are a player short. plenty of time in August

I agree. He's got potential, and he is wide, but i'm talking about a more long-term project like Fab Melo, Ezeli, or if we're going to be really lucky, Moultrie.
