When he doesn't have David West to run pick and pops with, Roy to throw the ball down low to, Danny to take shots late in the shot clock, or Paul to handle the ball and make simple entry passes that Collison can't make then we'll see just how bad he really is.

No, I'm not calling Darren a hall of famer. I'm simply saying that you're silly to make that argument that Darren plays with "great players" that bail him out, while he's on a team that's widely regarded as having no "great players" (see ESPN, Indy Star, etc). Darren Collison played his best basketball in NO when he had ONLY David West to play with.

No, he's not great. However, he's a lower tier starter right now, sure. He's still a competent starting PG in this league.

and at risk of prolonging this, if a point guard is on the floor with lesser players who don't make the proper cuts or set the proper screens, then it is not the point guards fault that he can not make the proper passes.

Bulls fan here...tbh I haven't watched any Pacers games this season, but I thought Darren played pretty damn well matching up against oh, the MVP of the league in last year's playoffs.

I like your team, have a lot of respect for 'em and can't wait to see you guys bring it to Miami in round 2. Some think the Heat are all psyched they avoided Boston (haha, who may not even advance).

I think they are going to regret it.
