QUestion for Indiana Pacers fans

Post#1 » by brigadierjerry » Fri May 25, 2012 8:57 am

Knicks fan that comes in peace.

I was wondering considering the success of the Pacers this year why arent there more postings on this forum considering the season and year you had?I know it is a Colts town first but I was just curious.

Hey, welcome. When i saw your topic i thought you're another Heat fan wanting to ask us how it feels to get beaten. These fans, you know.

I've been in the NYK board maybe more than a couple of times and your forum's as busy as your city streets are. Reading all the recent posts in a single seating seems impossible.

I, too, have the same question when i first got here and all througout the past two seasons i always felt like i must start a thread just to have something to discuss.

Dating back to my old account until now, i am thinking our board's more on quality than quantity, bragging aside, i'm not trying to say we have the best forum whatsoever, but i don't find too many unnecessary posts here in our board, there aren't too many trollers, and most of them outsiders.

Our trade rumors are merged, by the way, in case you haven't noticed. that's a big help in keeping the forum extra squeaky clean. =D

The answer is simple - population. NYC has more people than the entire state of Indiana. imagine how many fewer posts you'd get on the Knick's board if your fan base were entirely from Manhattan without the other boroughs or New Jersey. that's a fair comparison to central Indiana. that said some of the attraction of this forum is the low signal to noise ratio. there are more active Pacer forums elsewhere but I like this one partly because we don't have threads with double digits of pages.

Pacersdigest.com is where alot of fans go to not get bothered by realgm turds.

It normally has over 100 fans on it at any given time.

By realgm turds are you referring to fans of other teams?

Most Pacer fans post in Pacersdigest.com

Some of us post on both :D
