Marshall at 26 would be a gift from the gods. if we have our choice of the guys you have still on the board at our pick, I'll be happy whoever we choose.

The 10.1 Mock draft has Melo falling to us at #26. There's also a bit more about our options:

Analysis: The Pacers had a terrific workout with Melo. They need size, and with Roy Hibbert testing the free-agent waters in two days, they may really need size.

Trade Scenarios: The Pacers have looked to try to get into the top 10. They have a pretty good chip in Darren Collison if they want to use it. Tyler Hansbrough is also in play.

Pacers' Big Board:
1. Fab Melo
2. Draymond Green
3. Evan Fournier
4. Will Barton
5. Kim English

What do you think of our Big Board? Obviously, that's based on who we expect to be available and someone else may slide like Sullinger or even Perry Jones now with his knee issue. That would be nice. I'd like to see Wroten or Miller on our list too. I don't know how well Ford has his finger on the Pacer's pulse. Also, in Hollinger's chat today I noticed this:

More trades? Morey -7 or the field?
John Hollinger (1:25 PM)

I'll still take the field but it might be close. Remember, Morey also makes more trades in the second round than any about any GM in history. Kevin Pritchard is another one to watch, although apparently Larry Bird is still running Indiana's draft tonight.

This at least indicates that Bird is leaving on good terms. I assume that since Pritchard is Larry's guy that he'll still be actively involved in any draft deal so I'm curious how Walsh fits into tonight's proceedings.

It was reported by Mike Wells that Bird and Pritchard were running tonights draft and that Bird would step out of the way after the draft. Walsh stated he was simply coming in way too late and will only advise in matters of trades tonight.
