I spoke with him a few days ago and he is going overseas to Italy for a year. It was confirmed by Miami of Ohio (where he played).

Smart decision. Maybe 3 years in Europe could hone his skills just like what Gerald Green did. In that way he'll have a better chance of landing a roster spot in the NBA than accepting a small role as a team filler or a project.
