Game 22: Cavs @ Pacers

Post#1 » by Nuntius » Thu Dec 13, 2012 12:21 am

Important game tonight. We gotta get a win since the Cavs are division rivals.

We're down 15-10 with 5:52 remaining in the first quarter.

We're down 58 - 52 at the half.

The Cavs have hit 7 of their 8 3s. Our D gave them some but they are hitting a lot of tough shots tonight.

Lance Stephenson injured his ankle :(

Let's hope that it isn't something serious.

We won 96 - 81.

The Cavs run out of gas in the second half. Quite logical if you keep in mind that they were in the second night of a back-to-back.

It looked like the Cavs were gonna run us out of the building, but the opposite happened.

Seeing Tyler step up for Ben was classic. If anyone ever had any doubt why people call Tyler "Psycho T" all they need to do is see his facial expression on that play. Classic.

Nice.

It's good to see these Hansbrothers both on the floor at the same time, really high energy guys. Though this is a small sample size, Ben looked better suited in what the Pacers are trying to achieve with their second unit.

strange game with Cleveland scoring at will until they couldn't score at all. Cav's scores by quarters 29, 29, 12, 11.

Ben showed more than I expected. good defense. good leadership. I was in favor of giving the minutes to Lance and I still think that may happen when DG returns and claims a bunch of the wing minutes, but this was a step up from DJ.
