I have been posting (intermittently) on RealGM since 2006, and in the two weeks that this jman2585 has been posting, he has easily become my least-liked person on this entire board.
I mean, who the **** writes a 4000 word diatribe essentially saying "I don't think your team is a real contender, and they never will be, you should have found some way to draft a superstar or just **** off and die."
God dammit this guy is seriously getting on my nerves.
I mean, take this for example:
What I am annoyed about is:
a) advocating how other teams should follow what you're doing,
b) adovcating it over proper team construction (like the Thunder), which is easier to do and more reliable, and
c) the misrepresentation that you're either a contender, or on the verge of being one, neither of which is really true.
Oh, this guy is ANNOYED that we think teams can take tips from how the Pacers rebuilt.
He's ANNOYED that we advocate it over "proper team construction" "like the Thunder" Oh, yeah, just grab a few top-10 guys, including an all-time scoring monster, with some top-5 picks multiple years in a row, it's THAT EASY! I mean, it's an argument for "draft well" sure, but if every team tries to follow that model, well, you end up with the Bobcats, Kings, Wizards, etc - teams that have also had multiple high lotto picks that are not panning out.

Please stop continuously baiting Pacers fans and bashing the Pacers. I have no idea what your agenda is or why you have it, but it's bizarre and pointless. GTFO of the Pacers board and GTFO of RealGM unless you want to actually talk about basketball outside of "Pacers are not that great, lol" for pages and pages and pages on multiple boards on this site.
