He's a 6'8" SF... Doesn't seem all that likely a signing does it?

Well, could be a consideration if no other stretch 4 present itself like Copeland. I also imagine it would only take a Pendergraph like contract to net him.
I know nothing about him really, though.

Re: Ingles
Could be a fall back option in our search to add a shooter, IMO. He's been hovering around the NBA for like 5 years now, I see him as a more athletic Matt Bonner, or a poor man's Ryan Anderson at best. Kinda slow though, but he's a smart player.

Whenever i see us interested in a European based player, my mind just shifts to thinking about Sarunas Jasikevecius. Had so much hope for that guy. I really thought he was gonna be a sleeper signing that was going to slowly change our franchise around.

Believe it or not, I've actually met Joe Ingles a fair few times, although not recently. I used to play against him when he played for the ACT and I played for Victoria (some 8-10 years ago now). He's 6'8'', but played predominantly point-guard through the state system, NBL and the Olympics.
He's a good guy and a good player, particularly on defense. Would love him to make the Pacers' roster.

Wow, cool man. Rare we get personal scouting reports like this! Is Joe still more of a ball handler than anything?

He's a ball-handler, although I question his ability at this level. I envision him playing a little bit like a poor man's Mike Dunleavy. He should be fun to watch in summer league or pre-season games.
He is an elite defender though, can guard positions 1-5. Although the NBA is much different to Europe, the NBL or the Olympics.

Not sure if I'd class him as a Mikey D.
Being Aussie, I have seen Joe a fair few times as well. He is very athletic and has a good shot. For a 6'8 guy he handles the ball extremely well and is a crafty passer. In the NBA he could easily defend the 2 and 3. He would be physically pushed around by the 4's though as he is quite weak by NBA standards.
I'd love to have him on the Pacers but honestly I just don't see him as a good fit for our current roster. We have too many wings and he is another one.
