Plumlee with 18 and 11 last night. Nice defensive presence too. We are really pleasantly surprised by Green. I thought he was a throw in, but he has been an efficient scorer/shooter so far. I suppose that might change. You have to wonder how many other players are out there in this league sitting on the end of a bench that could be really productive given minutes.

That trade has really worked out well for the Suns. Honestly, we are sincerely hoping that Scola proves productive for you. He was well-liked in his short time here.

I also couldn't be happier with what Scola has done for us. It's not all about the total stats that is important to us. It's how he does in certain situations and so far he's been great. He was fantastic against the Bulls and his 17-foot jumper has gotten us out of some jams when the team really needed a bucket, something Green or Plumlee would not have been able to do, or even be trusted in that situation of a tight game.

I'm hoping Scola will step up even more. I think he needs to take the pressure of being the primary scorer on the second unit away from Lance. I think Lance will actually score more once he can let the game come to him no matter who else is on the floor with him.

On occasion a trade works for both teams. This appears to be one of those times. The players Suns received fit with what the they are trying to do in rebuilding, but were not a good fit in Indy. Scola appears to be a good fit with that Pacers are trying to do in making the finals and winning a championship.

Scola is one of those veteran players you are never a big fan of until he is on your team; then you see just what he is capable of and how he does a lot of the dirty, physical things that need to be done - well beyond the numbers. You become a fan of his. Pacer's fans will see more of that as time goes along. By the way he'll get his points also. Sometimes it takes him a few games to see where he fits in offensively.

As a Suns fan, I am pulling for Indy in the East - excellent team knows how to play the game, egos checked at the door, good coaching and front office, and a rising star. I believe a true championship contender and right now the team to beat in the East. Hopefully everyone stays healthy for you.
