GDT: who needs a thread - Bulls 11/16

Post#1 » by Wizop » Sun Nov 17, 2013 12:01 am

Do we even need a thread? I laughed when I saw that the Bulls forum had a 10 page thread several hours before game time. Unless it is blacked out, the game is both on Fox Sports IN and WGN. I think I'll watch the Chicago broadcast if my TV will let me.

This is the Pacers board, who needs game threads.

Let's extend the streak to 10-0!

Totally agree. Time to give Cope some minutes.

Chris is going to be a very good weapon for us if Vogel decides to utilize his skills.

Due to PG's ability to play 1-3, Cope should be the first wing off the bench.

Solo hit those threes in summer league and he can defend his position. don't know if he's nervous or what.

Lance is like the little girl with the girl. when he's good, he's very very good, and when he's bad he is horrid.

oh, well. it was going to come to an end sometimes. eventually you come up with a clunker. consider it our Rams game.

Help me understand your laughing at the Bulls board having 10 pages before the game. There are actual basketball fans in Chicago, little brother. Hope you enjoyed your 9-0 start, time for big brother to take over

Hopefully vogel gets smart and plays Copeland instead of horrible Solomon hill. Cope can play SF and don't say he can't Hill is just a horrible player right now and if we want to win a championship we have to not play him.. and little brother lol okay dude just cause ur fan base is bigger then the pacers doesn't mean ur the "bigger brother". You beat us once this year so that's just means the bulls are just soooo much better then the pacers right?

If the Bulls had never lost to the Pacers, and the Pacers weren't in first place in the East, and the Pacers didn't just have the best start in the NBA in over a decade, your post still doesn't belong here. You have to be very careful what you say on another team's board. If you didn't know and were just getting in some good old-fashioned trash talk, now you know that this isn't the place. If you are an idiot kicker who got liquored up and started running his mouth, kindly see yourself out, sir.

God that boxscore is a nasty one to wake up to... Still, I considered staying awake for the game, awfully glad I didn't now!

Don't flatter yourself little brother. We had 10 pages pre-game for the Raptors as well. Enjoy remaining the poorer version of our team. Btw thx for the 2nd homecourt you guys offer us, it's nice to play 43 rather than the usual 41 home games.

"Little brother," huh? Good stuff. I haven't heard that yet. I'm glad one regular season game has made some Bulls fans think they are back on top of the mountain.

As for the rest of the Bulls fans, I'm sure they are deservedly enjoying an all-around good effort from their team. 58% from 3 is definitely one of those things that is out of character for our defense to allow. I thought Rose was going to shrug at the scorer's table the way he was sinking them with a hand in his face.

Ya, Chicago has a very big following on realgm so the amount of pages in a thread isnt really an indicator of anything.

Indy is very good and so are the Bulls. I like the fan rivalry since it an indicator of how much is at stake, both teams have a legit shot at it all this season.

I also like that the central division is the only division in the NBA that has two teams that can knock off miami in a playoff series.

Holy overreactions Batman. One win and now the Bulls are world beaters again. How did our first meeting go? Don't think any of us came over to your board and started vomiting at the keyboard like you fellas are doing. Go on somewhere please.

I'm guessing Little Brother either goes back to the nineties or has something to do with Indy's vicinity to Chicago. /shrug, no idea what he's on about.

The threes Derek took today are the kind i'm comfortable with, and they're the kind he hit at over 40% in preseason. When he starts trying to come around screens and off the dribble and crap, I want to hit him.

It was one game. Just like the first game was. Granger's still gone and a question mark and Rose still isn't himself, so I choose to take nothing from the game except joy that we won.

there are actual fans here too although the population of Chicago is about the same as the population of the whole State of Indiana. in any event, we never have long game threads here and usually what threads we do have are almost completely post game comments. this is hardly the most active Pacers forum. I like it more than the more active forums because it has a very high signal to noise ratio. we have only a few regulars here but the posts with very few exceptions are well reasoned.

anyway, every once in a while a fan from a big city team will wonder over here after a game with us and question why our game thread wasn't longer. when I saw that the Bulls forum had a longer thread before the game even started than we have in a week of games, I laughed at the contrast and sort of expected someone to come over here and point it out.
