Last Pacer to score 39 in a playoff game was Reggie in '94. PG was on fire tonight.

The Bulls have nothing to do with this beat down.

I like how all of the analysts view Washington as an up-and-coming young team and then act like Indy is some sort of veteran-laden team. The fact of the matter is that both teams are similarly young, but the Pacers are just a lot better. Your franchise will not surpass Indy for the next 5-6 years, and at that point it is still highly unlikely.

Good luck next year and have fun rooting for the Heat.

Hibbert has mental conditions and needs to get something to help him with his little twitch with his eyes. Oh and he needs help for laughing and smiling every play like really act like you've been there before. Pacers foul every play no call. Can't wait to watch your sorry team get swept in the next round. THEN I WOULD PUT ON A SMILE LIKE HIBBERT AND LAUGH THE NIGHT AWAY. Stephenson and George are cocky as all hell , I can't wait until they play a proven team so I can watch them fall. Great dirty game anyways guys. I guess we will both be saying better luck next year when Pacers lose next round. Thanks for the laughs

Huh? Stop doing a disservice to your Wizards brethren. Most Washington fans have been very respectful in those game threads. Don't bring them down with posts like that.

Perseverance.

George said it best. They need to stop giving away quarters this late in the playoffs. They are really playing with fire if they score 11pts in a quarter. Wizards are a very good team. I am not sure i like what Wittman did tonight with his players, but i guess it coach Vogel wasn't perfect either. He stayed true to his players and played with our best and it worked. In a game like this, i would of liked to have seen Copeland though. Vogel had to have known at some point during the game that the bench was flat and needed a extra motivation.

I think, one thing thats too bad during these playoffs, with the national media keep talking about our struggles and trying to figure out what is wrong with us, is the play of George. He was great tonight, but he has been superb all playoffs long. He was a stud in each of the Atlanta games too.

He didn't rise to another level tonight. He's been flirting with greatness all playoffs and tonight things just clicked a bit more then usual.

Good win. I don't think we are back to where we were in the first half of the season, but it looks like we are getting there. The guys understand their roles and we've been playing good defense the past couple of games. Roy is also looking to have found his groove, and has been smiling a lot. And I really appreciate West doing the big brother role in the court. Scola is doing the same thing for the second unit. Hope we can stay like this and look to deal with all the personal issues in the offseason.

I was trying to gauge Turner's game and how Vogel plans to use him and he really looks like an isolation player. Once he start dribbling into the paint, he's going to look to score. Good midrange game but I think he's an odd fit to the rest of the guys. Not saying he's terrible but I hope Vogel knows that he is no Lance Stephenson, and use him as necessary.

Actually last Pacer to score 39 in a playoff game was Anthony Johnson in 2006 (!!!). Reggie was the last to score 39 in a playoffs ROAD WIN. (per ESPN and confirmed on basketball-reference.com)

I fell asleep during Q1 (quick doze off) and woke up in Q2 with the iPad blaring on bed, 15 points down... I decided not to throw the iPad through the window and sleep instead.

Just finished watching the second half. Roy and PG baby! Roy took the team on his back to close the gap and PG just torched it. Incredibly satisfying performance. This game to me, more than the previous two, proves that we are back to our own brand of ball - freezing opponents with great defense, several options on offense. I am now looking forward to the ECF.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

Second game in a row that Roy took the team on his back. He was pretty much responsible for both comebacks in Washington when it seemed as though the Wizards were going to run away with it - and of course, Paul George was incredible. It's good to see Indy playing well again.

I think our entire starting 5 was the reason why we came back and won. Our bench put us in a 19 point hole and the starting 5 just came out firing on all cylinders. I said it in the beg. of the season and I'll say it again: "We have the the best starting 5 in the league. Hands down."

Just want to put it out there, if miller4ever or anyone else wants to do the game thread for game 5, be my guest. I can get one up, but it won't be until tomorrow afternoon only ~5 hours before the game. Can't get one up until then.
