Well, we had it, but with a combination of bad defense and turnovers, we blew it. Now we have to split the series in Miami, no matter what.

David West getting jabbed in the eye really changed the game. I'm not saying it was dirty or anything like that. We just need his steadiness. He couldn't be depended on and we didn't play as well.

We had our chances but we didn't take advantage of them. I feel that we squandered a big opportunity to go up 2-0 and that saddens me. It would have been big.

We have to win 1 out of 2 in Miami now. We cannot return to Indiana with a 3-1 deficit.

Gotta learn from this game and come back big in Miami.

I am annoyed because I've not see the games so far and I really can't comment on what is going on, but I have to say: splitting at home isn't a disaster, we are good on the road, if we split at Miami we are still looking good. And we know we can split there!

This was never going to be a 4/5 or even 6 game series. This is going to the wire just like the year before. I think the box scores have been pleasing from the perspective of our starters and that is what really matters.

PG hitting the floor didn't help either although he wasn't having a great game before that either. I'd probably credit Miami for limiting Paul's opportunities but when you take one thing away you open up something else and for most of this game it was Lance.

as for West, we sure didn't get anything out of Scola when West sat. TV announcers made a point of that at halftime.

did you notice as the halftime broadcast cut away, Doug Collins was heard to say it was a "Joey Crawford game?" I've never been a Crawford fan but I've never thought of him forcing a style of play either.

Really? Joey Crawford is NOTORIOUSLY and without a doubt the worst referee in the league.

PG has officially been diagnosed with a concussion. Hopefully he can play in game 3, or Wade's knee may have just lost us the series.
