Not really excited about us picking at 57, but I hope Larry buys one of Philly's early second round picks. Though the Phoenix pick which is originally ours seem tempting, I do not want it to cost us another first rounder down the road.

Obviously, we can go BPA at 57 or we can address a need in the roster. Hope we come up with someone who can provide both. With how the workouts and the availability of players have been doing, I think there is a good chance we can land a point guard - a replacement to Sloan next season, and hopefully a would-be replacement to Watson when his time expires.

IMO, we need someone like a Reggie Jackson who just explodes off the bench and can take matters in his own hands. I know there are not too many options at 57 unless Russ Smith falls to us. But at the 30's? We could be choosing between guys like DeAndre Kane, Deonte Burton, Semaj Christon, even guys like Micic and Clarkson if they fall off the first round. I think we need a sparkplug off the bench more than a facilitator.

Oh well, just putting in my wish for this draft. it's hard to get excited with a 57th pick but I just wish Larry's thinking about grabbing an early second rounder.

To me, #57 is simply deciding on whom you want to have in training camp. That's about it. No guarantee on making a roster, but simply you're deciding what otherwise undrafted free agent you want to make be in your camp, instead of choosing to try out for someone else.
