If Lance leaves, we already have 14 guys under contract, and nothing but vet minimum signings available, and a $4~ish million TPE from the Granger deal. I don't honk we'd hit the FA market to sign a SG, but look for one in a deal.

Also, we all know CDR. He is what he is. A guy who will struggle to make the floor consistently in the NBA. As a 15th guy? Eh, whatever. As a guy to count on? Well, that's just asking for trouble.

There is nothing like video evidence.
CDR played well in Charlotte last year. He was a rotation guy for them even in the playoffs.

He made gaming winning plays to help Charlotte get to the playoffs.
Pacers have to get Spurs creative. Find some guys for cheap that people have written off.

The have adapt and revinvent on the fly.

The last one - find a pure 1 and move Hill to the 2. That was similar to his role in SA. Good enough to run the point intermittently but better off as a majority-time 2.

If Miles is really our Plan B for (Option 2) replacement SG, then Plan B should also include finding an upgrade for the bench so we can at least end up more well-rounded even if we downgraded in overall talent.

Which means we should still be looking.
