Boneman- that report was not true. The Suns have come out and said, they will listen to calls, but were and are not making any.

As for whether he wants to play in PHX, a couple of insecure media members floated out the notion that because he did not affirmatively embrace the Suns and the city in his exit interview, that he did not want to be here. While only Bledsoe knows his true feelings, the Suns beat writer who is closest to the team without being a team member has written several articles with quotes from Bledsoe's about how Bledsoe likes his teammates and coaches and the opportunity given. Until Bledsoe (not his incompetent agent) says anything to the contrary, I would not put much stock in the whining of insecure message board posters. I would also say it really does not matter as it will not give him any leverage with the Suns mgt.

I don't believe the city of PHO is the issue rather the situation may not totally appeal to him long term with Dragic firmly entrenched. Could be way off base but thats the way it appears. Although looks can be deceiving.

I think you are way off. He and Dragic are very compatible teammates and function very well together. Based on their on-court body language and their expressed support for one another, they genuinely like each other and playing together.

We shall see how the situation resolves itself in due time. Don't get me wrong, all things equal it's not like I oppose him staying in PHO, I'd just rather he play for my team.

I hear you and respect your thoughts. The only problem is Indy had not real means of acquiring him. Aside from Paul George, nothing on the Indy roster is of interest to the Suns primarily because the styles of play are so different and the players that fit well in Indy will not generally fit in PHX and visa versa. This is exemplified by Gerald Green. Nothing significant changed about his skills, but he fits in PHX where he did not in Indy.

I think Bledsoe would be a lousy fit on Indy unless they are intent on changing their style.

Frankly, I am a little surprised that they did not show any interest in Kendall Marshall. I know he was snatched off waivers by the first team standing in line - the Bucks, but i thought he would actually be a very good point guard for the Pacers - a pass first pg who has great court vision and little need to shoot. He would be able to keep the big fella interested and he would have been cheap for tax purposes.

Ditto, I would have liked Kendall Marshall

no way of knowing whether we also submitted a waiver claim or planned to talk to his agent after he cleared waivers. we could have been very interested even though that interest was never leaked.

I liked Kendal Marshal coming out of college too. Interesting the Lakers didn't make more of an effort to keep him. I could see him being an intersting fit here. A true point guard, whose bad defense we could probably mask with George Hill playing the sg. For better or worse I think what we see now with Stuckey and Miles is what we are going with this year. A three guard rotation of Stuckey, Miles and Hill has possibilities.
