When you say "blow it up" you are really talking about 3 players (Hill, Hibbert, West). Of the three I could see considering trade scenarios involving David West. There are several situations around the league where David West could put the team over the top. Houston and OKC come to mind. I don't think David West puts Charlotte over the top but something involving West for Zeller makes sense in a number of ways for both teams.
I don't want a total reboot but if David West could be moved in exchange for a you guy who with the right opportunity could develop into a foundational piece for years to come.... I'd be disappointed if we passed on that opportunity.
What do you want out of this season?

I think we should look at what Chicago did when rose was out as an example, they developed Butler and ran the offense through Noah and it had a great impact on both those guys' careers. If we can do the same with Solomon Hill and Hibbert and contend for a playoff spot, ill consider the season a success.

Smart moves. Don't tank, but if good retooling moves come available, take them. West for Zeller, Henderson, Neal and a 1st? Sure. No tanking, just retooling. If we get a great offer on Hibbert, like the 3 way on the trade forum where we get Waiters, Brandon Wright, and 2 1sts? Consider it and probably take it. See if an opportunity to move Scola for any 1st comes up for either a 2 year deal, or possibly just to dump someone before the season where they use Scola for his partial guarantee. Etc.
None of those concepts tank us, but merely give us long term pieces that can fit while still somewhat competing. Long term, we have to (or will soon have to) replace Lance and West. Is Hill a PG or SG. There's things to do and adjustments that can be made. I'm thinking more along the lines of the Jackson/Rose swap or Davis/JO swaps, not the Artest dump or what other teams have done before.
