I was really hoping the Pistons would breakout the Teal Grant Hill's. Had this jersey as a kid, the 90's were great!

Happy for the team, having everyone back healthy definitely changes the look of things. In George Hill's interview after the game with JJ he said if you don't want the Pacers to make the playoffs then you don't have the team's best interest in mind. I'm guessing some on the team have taken it personal that most of us have written off the season.

You know what? That's exactly what I want them To say and do. And Birds press conference was exactly what I want our GM to be like. I'm glad we have guys that have the fire to want to win. That's only going to make it so much easier next year to bounce back.

And George Hill makes a huge difference for this team. Huge.

I LOVE these jerseys. If I wasn't permanently broke due to PhD shenanigans, this bad-boy would be on its way to Sheffield.

Hill looked good. I suppose it is good that they want to have a go at it, I just don't know what is right and wrong any more this season. It has been such a rollercoaster-ride of injuries that I am getting to the point of complete and utter ambiguity. I've already written the season off, so I'm cool with whatever happens.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

Totally agree. As much as I want a good pick I don't want any of our players to feel that way. That's usually the difference between teams that stay at the bottom and teams that continue to get better. The Hawks are a great example of this. Plus I'd find it really bad if any player felt that a 19-20 year old rookie would change things for them.

Also, just wanted to add that we're seeing now why it would be stupid to trade George Hill. Best we'd get back is a middling prospect and cap relief and we aren't finding a better PG in free agency unless Dragic wants to take a big pay cut to come here. Hill isn't the type of floor leader like Chris Paul, but he still is one. He's at the forefront of our defense stopping penetration and funneling guys to Hibbert and he knows what plays to make on offense. Unfortunately last year he got lost in the shuffle and became a spot up shooter on offense and outsiders had trouble seeing how big he was to our defense.

It's always good when the Pacers win :D
