Evaluating Myles Turner SL performance
I thought this pick was terrible, bring out the pitchforks. After two games I think Turner will be the best player in the draft and a hall of famer 8D. He looks like he can develop into a dominant force at both ends. His shot looks great. Looks like he's struggling setting a decent pick tho.

He's active, quick and athletic on both ends. He can shoot it. Looks like he has a bright future. He and Stanley Johnson have really shined in SL so far.

As a Jazz fan, I was somewhat hoping Turner would slip to 12. I think he has some All Star potential in a Jermaine O'Neal-with-a-jump-shot sorta way. He just needs to keep working on his body.

He is a solid two way player. He will be challenged early on with the low post players being more physical....not as bad of a fit as it would have been 10-20 years ago tho.
He will struggle with fouls, but will make his fair share of plays as well. I expect him in the 20-25 minute a night range out of the gate and to be a solid piece in the rotation day 1. Not touting him an all-star or HOF without seeing how he handles true bigs in the NBA.
You see JO? I see more of a Pau Gasol - LaMarcus Aldridge type of potential. More on the perimeter and a better help defender.

I had the Pacers picking turner if he was still there all along. Don't know about best player in the draft but he'll be good and considered a steal when guys like WCS, and Porzingas flop.

Good promise. It's summer league, so I don't want to start feeling validated for wanting him all along quite yet.
By the way, Solomon Hill doesn't seem to be better at shooting. What the hell?

Got to admit to not liking the pick but I like what I'm seeing so far. As to a comp I see the Gasol comparison too. The shot blocking skill maybe more Mark than Pau. Smooth as he looks now around the basket and out on the floor creates a pretty enticing picture of the offensive player he could ultimately be. And, you simply can't teach the length.

I watched most of game 2. He looked bad. Also, after a great shooting first few minutes, joe young looked really disappointing. Got trapped a bunch. Struggled getting peeps the ball. He's got a nice strong pass, but court vision wasn't there at all.

Warriors fan here. Came to see how you guys were feeling about Turner.
I thought he could be a top 5 pick before the draft.

It didn't happen, but he's going to make teams regret not taking him. Absolute beast potential with his length and shooting ability. Who knows, he might even grown an inch or two from here. Congrats and enjoy his career!

I think we're gonna be quite happy with Myles and Mighty Joe Young.

They are torching Summer League, but our draft picks will have a new challenge come the regular season.
I think Young might be our best 2nd rounder since Pulp, maybe even Lance.

Hezonja might be perfect for you, too.
