I've come around to the idea quite a bit. Especially after hearing Vogel say that he is still going to have PG guarding the Lebrons, KDs, and Hardens of the league. I'm still not certain I would start him there, but that's another question I've expanded on in the GB a bit.

I did love the supposedly "painful," "soul-crushing," "plodding" Pacers though. They stumbled onto something and they decided they were gonna do it so well that, no matter what direction the league was heading in, other teams were gonna have to adjust to them instead of the other way around. And maybe they spent a good chunk of that era trying to reach the potential that they thought could have been (the half season slump, playing without PG, etc.), but I thought it was bold. It was the team that got me re-interested in the Pacers. And they had about as much success doing their thing as any team during that era not named the Spurs or Heat. And that's more than the vast majority of teams could say they did. So here's to being excited for the future and giving a salute to the past.
