Dwight Howard

Post#1 » by SBM » Mon May 15, 2017 3:57 am

There are some rumblings that he is available. There are some people here that think we could use a different type of C and move Myles to PF.

He will be 32 during next season but that's younger than Al Jefferson will be. He seemed to be in good shape this season and didn't cause much drama for Dwight Howard.

If the cost was Monta and Al Jefferson would you do it?

If the cost was Monta and Big Al, I would do it in an instant. I am not sure Atlanta does that trade though.

While he's not near the impact player he once was, I'd still gladly take him over any of the other bigs on our roster not named Myles Turner. Al Jeff, Monta, and Joe Young, let's make it happen.

Don't see this happening. Pritchard has talked about getting high motor, tough guys. Dwight doesn't exactly fit that. If Atlanta were to take on Monta and Big Al I would be for it, but don't see them doing that either as that would only clear cap space 1 year earlier for them.

Based on numbers I would trade Jefferson and Ellis for him in a snap. But I know that everywhere he's played he's been a bit of a malcontent. Based on that I am not sure I'd be willing to take a chance on him.
