Backwards. Mel died. Herb survived. But both cared. It is one of their sons who may lack interest.

PG made a lot of positive comments last night at his charity softball game. Check our Nate Taylor's twitter feed. Appears he is all in this year on being a Pacer. He and Pritchard are on the same page. Turner believes PG wants to be in and stay in Indy.

Reading between the lines a bit I think there was a big disconnect between PG and Larry. It is my belief that is why Larry stepped down.

Saw the news about PG and Pritchard being on the same page. It's a good sign. Also saw the part about him wanting Pritchard to improve the team, so it does seem long-term success is on his mind.

Hopefully, for the sake of the franchise, Pritchard can elevate the team.

I think part of the reason Lance was signed is that PG likes him. If he's back to being the old Lance that will be a huge positive for the Pacers and could lead to the big extension for Paul.

To improve the team we've got to look at clearing out Larry's last two big signings, Monta and Jefferson. Since their contracts are short I think we could use them to bring in some long term talent on longer contracts, it would have to be players who didn't quite live up to the contracts they were give last year. Monta might be on the team until the trade dead line and if not traded will be cut the same way Stuckey was.

I don't see dumping Ellis as a priority. I don't like him as a starting two, but he's a useful combo backup.

KP apparently told Jefferson to lose weight. I'll keep an open mind.

Sorry guys, this sucks. Hopefully you're able to get something valuable, no matter how big or small it is.

That he will opt out is no surprise. Stay tuned.

It's shame that he has put the Pacers in this position, with virtually little to no leverage now. I've never been sold on PG13 as a team leader, as he seems to lack that competitive fire and edge. He's an incredible talent, don't get me wrong, one of the best two way players in the NBA, but I can't see him leading a team with so much youth like the Lakers very far. Now if LeBron joins him there, that's a different story.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, time for a true rebuild.

The reporting seems pretty legitimate. Seems like he actually intends to leave.

He should have done this during last season, given us the opportunity to make a move. But at this point, there's no trade market for him, in LA or otherwise because he's made his intentions known and no one has any reason to give any assets for him. hopefully though, we find something so as to not waste this season and hopefully give minutes to players who see a future on this team and get a better draft pick.

What a **** way for this era to end. We were so close at points.

Turner era on the horizon.
